I have written poems for many years. However, following the death of my partner in February 2024, I started to process my grief through my art. I combine my words with abstract images as they arise. The canvases are built up with layers of acrylic paints and paper. Hidden beneath the layers are lyrics, photographs and pictures that have meaning to me. I think they illustrate, beautifully, the depth, joy and fragility of being human.

The paintings are for sale. They are 90 x 120cm canvases using acrylic, spray paint and gold leaf.
